Over 45 technology solutions built by AETRF were deployed to all countries affected by the Ebola epidemic and beyond, supporting real-time surveillance, communication, and coordination.

10+ Hackathons Hosted

Including ThoughtWorks Uganda RapidPro Hackathon for UNICEF healthcare workers and Africa Open E-health Hackathon to build the Africa Information Technology Army (AITA).

200+ Professionals

Representatives from CASE-Liberia, Thoughtworks, iSpace, SBTS Group, and central coordinating units in Liberia and Sierra Leone joined forces to combat Ebola.
